Welcome to the Trinity Softball League! Parental Consent Form
Hello Churches & Coaches,It is that time of year again to think softball. The 2011 coaches meeting will be held on Monday, April 4th at 6:30pm at Trinity Assembly of God. We will use the same meeting room we always use as you come in the expressway side entrance on the southeast side of the building and go right, once inside the building to the classroom. This year, unfortunately we will not have a women’s league as we do not have enough teams. We will have men’s league as scheduled and with the option to open another division on Thursday nights. We will discuss teams and divisons, we would like the top teams in one division and so on and so forth to make the divisions as equal as possible. We also will discuss some new rules and ideas. On Tuesday nights we will limit it to 6 teams and play double headers. As for Monday nights we would like to make into 2 divisions with one set of teams playing Monday nights and one set of teams playing on Thursday nights. I know most of you have been used to playing on Monday nights only, but please consider playing thursday nights as the competition will be the same. Then come playoff time the 2 divisions will each have a winner and play each other just like "American and National Leagues". So please if your team can play on Thursdays only, please let me know as this will only work if we have enough teams. We will also hand out awards and t-shirts to last year champions, Thank you. The cost for the league is the same as last year: Men’s League $450 Please bring your league fees to the meeting with you. Make your checks payable to: Trinity Assembly of God and in the memo: Softball League Fee. If you cannot pay the entire amount, I will accept a deposit of $200 to hold your place in the league with final payment due by May 1st. We plan for the first games to start the week of May 10th. Any team not paid in full at game time will forfeit each game until paid in full. (Unless other arrangements are made with me) If your coach cannot attend, please send a representative. Each team must provide an email address and a phone number for their coach to be contacted. If your church is not going to play in our league this year please contact me immediately so that we can give that spot to another church on the waiting list that wants to get into our league.
